The Tornado model was born out a collaboration between Saul Koll and pioneering guitarist David Torn, and was designed for maximum control and playability. Fresh off Saul Koll's workbench, this 2016 Koll Tornado is a pure expression of design and craftsmanship. The solid Korina body has been contoured and sculpted, the Korina set neck has a comfortable C profile, and the edges of its old growth Indian rosewood fretboard are gently rolled. Two Lollar Imperial humbuckers, a Mann 2020 Vibrato, Hipshot open back tuners, and a custom designed oxidized copper pickguard complete an instrument that's almost impossible to put down. 

This new Tornado ships in a deluxe Koll custom hardshell case, made by G&G Custom Cases in the USA.
